Food: Kaki Fuyong with Chicken
Hello everyone, so this is the second post to introduce you all the second Japanese Cuisine that I have tasted today. The Kaki Fuyong with Chicken from the Japanese Cuisine stall in Makan Place, Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Although the name doesn't sound like a Japanese dish, but it IS a genuine Japanese dish.
The Kaki Fuyong with Chicken, which cost only $3.00, is a dish that comes with a bowl of rice and a hot plate of Chicken placed on top of the sizzling Fuyong Egg with their homemade sauce. This dish is the most popular dish among the students in Ngee Ann Polytechnic as it is very delicious, the Chicken is very crispy and the egg taste good together with the rice and the Chicken. But be warned though, it is very hot so it needs to cool down for a while before it is being served. The only bad thing about this dish is that it is so popular that you will need to queue for a very long time during peak hours, such as lunch time.(Trust me, I experienced it myself today.)
Overall, this Japanese dish doesn't look like it, but it is quite a big serving. You won't say you are hungry after eating this Japanese dish, plus it is very delicious, Oishii!
